One of Italy's largest retail chains is selecting door and docking solutions from Crawford.

The contract comprises supply, installation and ongoing service of more than 80 complete docking stations for a new logistics center near Catania in Italy. The order is worth SEK 4.3 million and final delivery is expected to occur in November 2009. 

Crawford Group is one of the world's leading suppliers of doors and docking solutions to companies in the fields of transportation, logistics, manufacturing and retail. In recent years, the division has developed products that include monitoring systems for more efficient management of the logistics of distribution centers. The division also offers solutions that help reduce energy consumption in a logistics center by up to 30 percent.
